How to Ace Your Smiles On Demand Assessment & Get The Job

Have you seen a job ad for Smiles On Demand that you want to apply for?

Discover how to have the best chances of success here!

To apply for any of our current position, visit us on-site (Sibulan) Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm (at a time that suits you) for assessment.

Please bring:

  • Your resume
  • A pen
  • A face mask or shield

BUT before you arrive here are our top tips on how to ace the assessment for the best chances of success.

1. Knowing What to Expect

Knowing what to expect before you go in for an assessment gives you a huge advantage because you can make sure you’re well prepared.

When you visit us for assessment, you’ll be greeted by one of our staff members.

We’ll talk to you for a short while about your education, background, work experience and qualifications etc.

Be prepared to answer these questions clearly, confidently, and with proof.

From here, you’ll undergo an English reading, writing, and speaking assessment to ensure you’re applying for the role best suited to you.

We offer both voice and non-voice opportunities across customer experience, back office and dedicated professional roles.

TOP TIP: It doesn’t hurt to brush up on your English skills before the assessment for the best results. Oftentimes, if we’ve stopped speaking English daily the basics can slip from our minds – we’re human after all.

Practice with your friends, family or online to ensure you’re on your A-game the day of the assessment.

2. Do Your Research on the Role You’re Applying For

Consider the job you’re applying for and do some research about the kind of roles or tasks that may be involved.

Before applying ask yourself:

  • Is this a good fit for you?
  • Is this role something you want to do and do well in?
  • If required, do you have the right qualifications?
  • What questions might I be in the interview? Do I know how to give a clear and confident answer?

TOP TIP: If you know you can do the job; make sure WE believe you can, too. One way to do this is by preparing well-thought-out answers to questions we’re most likely to ask and using appropriate language to the best of your ability.

If it’s clear to us that you’ve done your homework before you arrive and you’re passionate about the role you’re applying for, you’re already a standout candidate. 😉

3. Dress For the Job

At Smiles, we pride ourselves on a friendly working environment (sometimes with a casual dress code) however, this does not give you permission to dress as our team does do when you interview.

We value professionalism so it’s important to dress appropriately and be well-groomed for the assessment if you want the best chances of success.

4. Ask Questions

We want you to be excited about potentially joining our team at Smiles.

Asking questions is a great way of showcasing how interested you are in life at Smiles and what goes on in the company.

It also gives you the opportunity to consider if this is the right place for you.

5. Be Polite. Don’t Be Too Familiar

At Smiles, our work family is our extended family. However, please do not forget that the assessment is a professional meeting to talk business.

It is important to bring energy and enthusiasm to the interview and to ask questions, but do not overstep your place as a candidate looking for a job.
